Sizing in plain English.

My shirts are heavyweight Comfort Colors 1717 — unisex fit, cut relaxed. Not tight. Not shrunk-in-the-wash slim. Designed to be the tee you grab when you want to feel like yourself.

The shortcut: order your usual women’s size for a relaxed, not baggy fit. Between sizes? Size UP if you want extra-roomy (most women do with Comfort Colors). Size DOWN if you want it fitted.

I’m 5’6” and wear a size M in every tee in my shop.

The measurements

How to measure yourself.

The easiest way: grab a tee you love, lay it flat, and measure.

• Chest width — armpit to armpit, across the chest, while the shirt is flat. Double that number to get your full chest circumference.
• Body length — top of the shoulder seam straight down to the bottom hem.

Match those to the chart above. If your numbers land between two sizes, go up for roomy, down for fitted.

If it doesn’t fit, I’ll fix it.
